After that we are all going over to hubby's sister's place and will have lunch with his family... there will be 33 of us this year...phew glad it is her turn....
Then we will come home and have Christmas night with my family ....just 9 of us so that will be easy and somewhere in the middle of all this I have to pack clothes and food and my sewing of course (all ready packed... got to have your priorities right..) LOL so we can go away Boxing day until Jan 5th....
Anyway I would like to wish all my blogging friends a very Merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year ...Sheryl

While I get myself organised for Christmas, I will post some pics of a parcel I received in the mail last week... I had seen this project idea when it first came out a few months ago and I decided I wasn't going to put my name down for it because I have a few other projects on the go... you know how it goes.... then I saw photos on other blogs and thought how cute these are and I gave in......
I just love getting parcels in the mail... feels like it is your birthday every time..LOL

So now I have to decide which bag to put this project in to cart it around....
this old thing that I made 5 or 6 years ago..... it was a kit from the patchwork shop in Narooma, NSW....
or maybe this bag.... made this 3 or 4 years ago, it was a kit from Candleberry Country
in Yarragon, Victoria....
or I might just use my most recent bag made from charm squares using a pattern a stitching friend gave me....
Another stitching friend says you need a bag , basket or box or something nice to store your projects in as you go and as you would all know thats a lot of bags, baskets and boxes...LOL

Right now... I am off to sort my Christmas stuff out.

Finally got a chance to take some photos of our pretty little Phoebe; this is how Phoebe looks through the colder times of the year in her very warm luxurious fur coat..... but it is rather difficult to be comfortable in the heat of Summer in a fur coat.....so she has had a hair cut the last two Summers and she loves it ....
she is helping me photograph some of my bags I have made over the years.... she was probably thinking whats all this stuff in my way, where am I going to sit in the middle of Mum's sewing bench.....

her hair is growing back quickly, she may need another hair cut before the Summer is finished
