Today I thought I would do a little renovating.... have a bit of a change..... warm up my blog ready for Winter...... I am really looking forward to rugging up for the cold and spending lots of time in front of the fire/heater and sewing..... cooking up some yummy wintery dishes like soups and pies and puddings.... you know all the things that we aren't supposed to eat but taste sooo good.
Here is a different photo of the cross-stitch in my header as you can see it's called Raspberry Homecoming..... sorry the photo quality is a bit dodgy, need a new camera....hint hint.....anyone!!!
And this is the Blueberry Homecoming that I have just taken off my header.....

I just love these two unfortunately I haven't had them framed yet..... can't decide on what type .... rustic, vintage, classic...... so they just patiently wait in a box......

I am now down to seven sleeps until I go away on a UFO weekend with two of my favourite sewing friends.... it use to be.... arrive on Friday afternoon, home Sunday but over the years we have extended it to lunchtime Thursday to late checkout Sunday. We have been going for at least twelve years although it is possibly more.... the time gets away from you.... but last year we didn't go because one of the girls was sick but she is fully recovered now and we can't wait to catch up with all our ufo's. So I must go now and make my sewing list of what to take to work on and what food I will take..... the sewing list will probably look similar to the one from two years ago because I have these WISP's that I are taking forever because I start other things that are quicker to do but that's why we have UFO weekends isn't it.......LOL

Oh yes I sooooo love those cross stitch's you have done, they are gorgeous. How exciting having weekend away soon, nothing nicer to refresh the mind and relax the body. Enjoy all of your organising for it, thats part of the whole weekend also isn't it?

Sounds like the best weekend friends and finishing. I hope you have a wonderful time. Your cross stitch is lovely I haven't cross stitched in ages.

A UFO weekend. I like the sound of that. Hope you got lots done.
Your cross-stitches are great ... I used to do heaps and especially loved doing Amish ones. Like you I have lots of unframed ones in a box!
