this was a beautiful quilt..... she had hand embroidered each block.....
sorry the photo quality isn't that good .... the embroidery was exquisite.......
I think it is called "Heaven and Earth" and it was a BOM she bought a few years ago.....
the second finish is a Needlecase which she cross-stitched and beaded.....
the photos didn't capture the true colours but it was gorgeous....
and I just kept stitching.....
and stitching on my Gardener's Journal.....
hopefully finish it this year.....

I love the background fabric you chose for GJ. It's perfect! Keep stitching it will be worth it. Your friends quilt is lovely too. Folk Art is a favourite of mine. Any Idea who produced the BOM? I'd love to track it down.
