Yes another day like yesterday and the days before....

I think my boys are sick of the heat....

although it was only 35.C this morning not quite as hot but still......
so we drove to where we keep our boat (45mins) and thought we'd go somewhere for a swim unfortunately the boat had her own ideas and didn't want to go..... lucky there was a cool breeze and it was only 29.C so I sat and stitched while DH cursed and sweated trying to fix the problem only to find it wasn't going to happen today...... by the time we got home about 2pm it was 38.C and not nice.... so I stitched some more...
Now the cool sea breeze has reached us and its about 27-30.C so I'm going to sit outside with a glass of wine and listen to the jazz on the radio and quilt a few stitches in my wall hanging...

that sounds like a great idea...Chelsea has been laying around on the tiles all day as well...she is over the heat....no relief here until next Saturday...they are predicting temps of 40 right thru to Thursday then 38,35 and 30....hopefully we will get some lower temps at night when we can open up the house and get some air...thank god for the internet (and power)...it has kept me amused most of today! Enjoy your wine and jazz...I haven't stitched anything for days...I am having withdrawal....

My feline boys wilted during the heat but at least they faired better then my sons mice, neither of which made it.
We are now sitting back with a glass of wine, enjoying the cool change too. Sheer bliss.

I wish we could have some of your heat right now. We are freezing cold and buried in snow. I really like your blog header. Very nice.
